Long-term care advocates urge Governor Wolf to provide proactive regulatory and staffing relief for providers as part of COVID-19 response

Earlier today, LeadingAge PA and the Pennsylvania Health Care Association (PHCA) sent a joint letter to Governor Tom Wolf urging him to provide proactive regulatory relief for long-term care providers as they navigate the emerging impacts of COVID-19 and continue efforts to protect Pennsylvania's most at-risk and vulnerable population: those in long-term care facilities. -
LeadingAge PA and Kairos Health Systems announce affiliation: Affiliation to strengthen providers' positions in the marketplace

Kairos Health Systems, a provider-owned health system, announced that is signed an agreement to become a wholly-owned subsidiary of LeadingAge PA, one of the country's largest trade associations for nonprofit aging services providers. This affiliation will enhance opportunities to meet the changing needs of members in the post-acute care environment and strengthen their positions in the marketplace. -

LeadingAge PA, the voice for non-profit senior care in Pennsylvania, today lauded Gov. Tom Wolf for his new initiative, "Reach Out PA: Your Mental Health Matters." This effort will expand access to important mental health resources for countless Pennsylvanians, including seniors. As part of Reach Out PA, Pennsylvania will be offering more Dementia Friends training. -

LeadingAge PA names Adam Marles president/CEO

LeadingAge PA today announced Adam Marles has been named President and CEO. He succeeds Ron Barth, who will retire June 30, after nearly three decades of distinguished service. Eva Bering will serve as interim CEO until Marles begins his tenure on Aug. 20.
