(Newtown Square, Pa.) — White Horse Village residents recognize the invaluable contributions of team members by supporting their educational aspirations with scholarships. This month, 25 deserving recipients will receive awards ranging from $1,000 to $2,200 for their post-secondary education this fall.

LeadingAge PA unveils its Career Growth Partner program and spotlights its newest partner, Central Penn College. The program is designed to forge educational partnerships to provide LeadingAge PA member staff with better access to education, up-to-date curricula, and career development opportunities.

LeadingAge PA has awarded 33 scholarships totaling $40,000 through its 2024 Professional Development Scholarship program. The scholarships support staff members of LeadingAge PA member organizations statewide in pursuing various degrees, certifications, and continuing education credits.

(Newtown Square, Pa.) — The fifth annual White Horse Village Walk to End Alzheimer’s fundraiser on June 19, 2024, has exceeded its goal, raising an impressive $29,010. The event began in 2020 when the pandemic forced the cancellation of the greater Philadelphia Walk. In the face of this challenge, the Alzheimer’s Association Delaware Valley Chapter turned to White Horse Village, and the community responded by raising $18,001 at its first event, with a five-year total of $140,698.
