Arkoosh (Human Services), Kavulich (Aging), Bogen (Health) to serve as strong advocates for Pennsylvania’s senior community

MECHANICSBURG, Pa. (Dec. 14, 2022) – LeadingAge PA President & CEO Garry Pezzano has been named to Governor-Elect Josh Shapiro’s transition team as a member of the Health and Human Services Transition Advisory Committee.

LeadingAge PA, an association representing more than 360 aging services providers across the state, today launched its second annual Careers to Love PA campaign to raise the profile of careers in the growing field of senior care.

LeadingAge PA is excited to announce the 2022 Distinguished Service Award winners. Established in 1973, the Distinguished Service Awards honor the exemplary contributions of individuals and groups from member organizations who are enhancing the aging services field through their involvement, innovation, leadership and advocacy.

A recent partnership agreement between LeadingAge PA and Marywood University now allows LeadingAge PA member organizations to provide their employees with discounted tuition in several programs.

LeadingAge PA, the leading voice for senior services across Pennsylvania, is pleased to announce it recently awarded 33 scholarships totaling $40,000 to members through the 2022 Professional Development Scholarship program.

LeadingAge PA today announced, EMBA, MS/CCC-SLP, FNAP, has been appointed the association’s new president and CEO. Pezzano comes to the association as a highly experienced clinical operations executive and post-acute care leader.
