The Director of Finance is responsible for overseeing and directing the organization’s financial functions, including planning, developing, and evaluating fiscal performance. As a strategic partner, they contribute to the development of organizational plans and programs, advising on the impact of long-term planning, new initiatives, and regulatory actions.

Key responsibilities include providing timely and accurate financial analysis to assist senior leadership, enhancing organizational policies and procedures, and improving the overall efficiency of financial operations. The Director will lead the budgeting process, provide strategic financial input on key decisions such as mergers or acquisitions, and manage cash flow projections and banking relationships to optimize the organization's financial health.

Additionally, the Director will advise key stakeholders, ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements, and assess and develop the finance department for continuous improvement. The position also involves setting and enforcing financial procedures for the finance team, ensuring efficient operations, and fostering professional growth within the department.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or another related field required.
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration preferred.
  • 5 years’ experience in financial management.
  • 5 years’ experience in long-term care.
