Luthercare Announces Leadership Transition: Marissa Picchini Appointed as Chief Executive Officer

LITITZ, Pa. (May 30, 2024)—The Luthercare Community Board of Directors is thrilled to announce a significant and exciting transition within Luthercare’s leadership. Effective July 1st, Marissa Picchini, its Chief Financial Officer, will step into the role of Chief Executive Officer. She succeeds Carl McAloose, who will retire on June 30th after 16 years of dedicated service.

Marissa joined Luthercare in 2020 and quickly became a pivotal figure in navigating the organization through unprecedented financial challenges. Her expertise in financial management and strategic leadership has not only stabilized operations but has positioned Luthercare for a future of growth and innovation. 

In her own words, Marissa shares her commitment to our community: "As I step into this role, my priority will be to uphold the values that define Luthercare while driving innovation and excellence in all that we do. I am excited to further cultivate our services, ensuring that every resident and family member feels supported and valued. My vision includes expanding our technological capabilities, enhancing our community programs, and strengthening our financial health to meet and exceed the evolving needs of our residents." 

While excited to welcome Marissa as the new CEO, Luthercare also wishes to express heartfelt gratitude to Carl McAloose for his visionary leadership and the profound impact he has had on the community. Carl’s mentorship of Marissa has prepared her well for this leadership transition, ensuring continuity and stability for Luthercare.
