MECHANICSBURG, Pa — Messiah Lifeways has announced that they have selected Culinesse,
LLC, a boutique hospitality brand, as their new culinary management partner. This search was
prompted by Messiah Lifeways’ desire to enhance its current culinary experience and deliver
innovative dining and hospitality throughout its continuum of care, in alignment with senior living
trends and its mission of serving older adults with Christ-like love.
Culinesse, headquartered in Bethlehem, PA, is a forward-thinking hospitality brand that elevates
retirement community living by focusing on highly-personalized resident and guest experiences.

power of food to connect people and create community,” said Mitch Possinger, CEO & Managing
Partner of Culinesse. “The team at Culinesse looks forward to working with residents and team
members to not only continually improve dining services, but also offer lifelong learning
opportunities and support Messiah Lifeways’ strong sense of community life.”
Dining at Messiah Lifeways is a critical component of a positive resident experience across the
continuum of care, and it also plays a key role in healthy aging and community engagement.
“It was important to us that a new culinary management partner not only come to the table with new
ideas, but that they also take pride in their quality, consistency, and the relationships built with
residents and team members throughout our organization,” said Kim Valvo, Messiah Lifeways Vice
President of Operations.
“I’m excited to see how this partnership continues to evolve and grow to meet and exceed the
changing needs of our community,” added Messiah Lifeways President & CEO, Karl Brummer.
