LeadingAge PA congratulates new Speaker of the House Cutler; GOP leadership team
MECHANICSBURG, Pa. (June 23, 2020) - Adam Marles, president and CEO of LeadingAge PA, the voice of nonprofit senior care in Pennsylvania, today congratulated new Speaker of the House Brian Cutler (R-Lancaster) and the House Republican caucus leadership team on their elections. Rep. Kerry Benninghoff (R-Centre) has been elected House Majority Leader, and Rep. Donna Oberlander (R-Clarion) is the new Majority Whip.
"Speaker Cutler and the House GOP leadership team have been strong supporters of Pennsylvania seniors and nonprofit senior care here in Pennsylvania. We look forward to working with them and all House members in a bipartisan fashion on the critical funding needs senior care providers still have as nursing homes remain the epicenter of our commonwealth's battle against the coronavirus."
