Erin McDermott named manager of workforce initiatives for LeadingAge PA

MECHANICSBURG, Pa. (Jan 2, 2020) - LeadingAge PA is excited to welcome our new Workforce Initiatives Manager, Erin McDermott!

Most recently, Erin was the community relations director for a State College continuing care retirement community. During that time, she also served as a member of the board for the Geriatric Interest Network in Center County. Throughout her career, McDermott has gained experience working in all levels of care, including skilled nursing and memory care. A Mechanicsburg native, McDermott's passion for senior services and supports began with a job in a local personal care community.

She is a graduate of the Schreyer Honors College at Penn State University with dual degrees in human development and family studies and health policy and administration, as well as a minor in gerontology.
