Advocacy at a Glance

The LeadingAge PA government affairs team developed an Advocacy at a Glance 2022 Dashboard to be used as a tool to give members insight into legislation and topics we have supported and opposed during the 2021-2022 legislative session and the advocacy actions we have been taking on behalf of our members. You can view it at any time here.

Within this dashboard, we have broken down the legislation into topics that relate to each aging services setting. By doing so, the dashboard provides a description of the topic, LeadingAge PA’s position on the matter and if it has been accomplished or is still pending into the new year. Additionally, notes are provided to further detail the outcomes of the topics. Those items that are still pending may be reintroduced in the next legislative session starting in January, so we will continue to track them and advocate for our members' best interests.

We are proud of all that's been accomplished over the past year and are gearing up for the new 2023-2024 legislative session. LeadingAge PA will continue to monitor and update membership on the status of pertinent legislation. Stay tuned for our 2023 dashboard in the new year.
