As long-term care providers, large and small, our missions focus us on service to others and meeting the needs of those entrusted to our care. Each day, we demonstrate the purest meaning of care as each of us gives of ourselves for the betterment of others.

As aging services providers, we often face a public with limited understanding of the scope of our services, the challenges before us, or the remarkable levels of care provided. Frequently, we are lumped into a collective that is not representative of who we are and what we value most, by a media with a limited perspective. However, as individual entities, we can--and need--to share our stories and advocate for our organizations. Yet, all too often, a single voice can be drowned by the shouts around us. As members of LeadingAge PA, we can stand together in our local communities and in Harrisburg knowing we are united in bringing the voice of many into a single acclimation of values and mission by demonstrating the very real possibilities of senior services.
