Q: What is your favorite hobby?
A: Hiking! My wife and I love to hike. We've gone to Colorado and the Rocky Mountains a few times. We've enjoyed hiking in the Asheville, NC area of the Blue Ridge Mountains, too.
Q: What is your favorite trip?
A: Our first trip to Colorado is probably my favorite trip. I love the diversity of its landscape--it has everything from the desert to prairie. On that trip, we traveled extensively throughout the
state. In addition to visiting the Rocky Mountains, we went to Independence Pass, Aspen, Colorado Springs, and Crestone, yet there are still so many parts left for us to discover!
Q: What was your favorite television show as a child? Why was it your favorite?
A: "CHiPs" was my favorite television show when I was growing up. I thought being a patrolman, specifically a motorcycle officer in the California Highway Patrol, would be so cool!
Q: What is your favorite family dish?
A: Anything my wife makes is my favorite because she is an incredible cook. We frequently spend time cooking together. I'm her sous chef.
Q: What is your favorite quote?
A: "Life is available only in the present moment." I love this quote from Thich Nhat Hahn because it reminds me to not miss life, as it is often easy to get swept away by living in the past and future.
