Risk Management Analyst
As a certified physician assistant, Crissy Hartwig has been committed to educating patients and their families on medical conditions, treatments, and medication plans to help maximize patients’ mobility, pain management, and quality of life. Prior to her health care career, she practiced as a litigation attorney for nearly nine years, focused on representing and defending health care institutions and providers against medical malpractice cases. As an attorney, Hartwig was committed to counseling and educating health care institutions and providers about risk exposure, standards of care, and providing quality care for the health and safety of patients, as well as providers.
A risk management analyst at Caring Communities, Hartwig holds a Juris Doctorate from Loyola University, a Master of Medical Science in physician assistant studies at Dominican University, and a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor. Prior to joining Caring Communities, she worked as a physician assistant focused on interventional pain management and as a certified nursing assistant at the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab in Chicago.
