Putting the Dementia Discussion on the Dining Table - Webinar

This will be an engaging learning session in which we dive into how we can best support residents in memory care units and do so through dining experiences.

Residents with dementia and Alzheimer’s have unique and specialized needs, and each of our caregivers and team members who provide service to these residents must understand these needs. Incorporating dining may be vital and can truly be a game-changing initiative in overall well-being, influencing both nutritional and emotional status.

This session's attendees will learn about a variety of lower-cost strategies to reduce anxiety, provide needed sound stimulation, and enable creative independence that supports resident dignity.
