Aurora Verlin is a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) and instructional faculty within the Recreational Therapy Program and Department of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences within Temple University’s College of Public Health. Prior to her academic appointment, Aurora worked in multiple senior care settings within Delaware and Montgomery counties, as Director of Therapeutic Recreation, and was a licensed Personal Care Home Administrator. She is one of the co-creators of the Engagement in Preferred ActivitieS Scale, and a creator of the EPASS Online Toolkit. She is also the President of the Recreational Therapy Foundation, a non-profit organization that funds research grants within the field of recreational therapy.
