Dr. Sciamanna is a
Professor of Medicine and Public Health Sciences at Penn State College of
Medicine. He is a general internist with a Masters in Public Health degree from
Johns Hopkins who has seen a panel of primary care patients for the past 17
years. He has published over 140
peer-reviewed papers and has been federally funded for the past 20 years. His
research focuses on developing and conducting clinical trials of exercise
interventions designed to improve the health and independence of older adults.
