Charlie Schlegel

Charlie Schlegel is the Director of the Division of Safety Inspection at the Pennsylvania Department of Health.  Schlegel has over 20 years of experience in healthcare safety inspections, with a background that spans both private industry and state government. He is currently responsible for all Life Safety Code inspections and plan reviews for approximately 2,000 healthcare facilities throughout Pennsylvania, encompassing new construction and renovations.
