Trish is a board-certified nurse executive with 31 years of business and healthcare operations experience. She is an author and industry expert, frequently speaking on the current state of healthcare including operational excellence strategies for improving risk mitigation + care quality; staff recruitment + retention; marketing; + census recovery post-COVID; patient + resident experience; + nursing leadership + professional development. In her current role as Chief Nursing Officer for CareWork, Trish provides executive clinical counsel, oversees the design, and launch of marketing + product strategy, and offers her voice as a national thought leader for the post-acute care industry. She is the President of the North Carolina Nurses Association (NCNA) and Membership Assembly Representative for the American Nurses Association (ANA).
Trish is committed to serving her community through her work as a volunteer for the North Carolina Office of Emergency Management, Capital Medical Reserve Corps. Fun fact—while her healthcare career spans both ACUTE and POST-ACUTE CARE…before nursing? Trish was a licensed stockbroker and worked in corporate accounting!
