The Rev. Tricia McMackin

Since 2014 when she was called to serve as chaplain, the Rev. Tricia McMackin has been providing spiritual care for SpiriTrust Lutheran campuses. Currently the chaplain at The Village at Sprenkle Drive and The Village at Kelly Drive, she serves the residents, families, and team members at both campuses through worship, Bible studies, and spiritual growth programs. Prior to joining SpiriTrust Lutheran, she answered calls to serve at the New Jerusalem Lutheran Church in Hellertown, Pa., and Trinity Lutheran Church in Bowmanstown, Pa. 

A past treasurer of the Hellertown Area Ministerium and a former secretary of the Northeastern Pennsylvania Synod Council, she is the current president of the Pennsylvania Society of Chaplains. McMackin graduated with a master's in divinity from the United Lutheran Seminary at Philadelphia, where she completed a dual internship at Grace Lutheran Church and The Good Shepherd Home and Rehabilitation Hospital, both in Allentown. She is also an alumna of Albright College, where she earned a bachelor's in business administration.
