Penny Imes

With 40 years of nursing experience in both acute and long-term care, Penny Imes believes that quality improvement processes are the key to improving quality of care. This belief, along with her background in long-term care, which includes positions as director of nursing, quality improvement coordinator, staff development educator, and registered nurse assessment coordinator, led Imes to join Quality Insights as a quality improvement specialist in 2005. Since then, she has worked extensively with nursing homes and hospitals on a variety of projects utilizing her clinical and quality background.
