Katie Griffith


After earning her Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems at The University of Georgia, Katie began her career at Horizon Software (now part of CBORD), a food service technology company, traveling to senior living communities and hospitals implementing Point of Sale systems.  During her ten year tenure at Horizon Software, Katie held a variety of roles including customer service, strategic account management, and sales.

In 2013, Katie continued a successful technology sales career at AirWatch by VMWare for three years as part of the healthcare sales team. 

Katie noticed a need for the customers to which she was selling technology to have an unbiased, third party help them navigate their options to identify the best fit for their operations.  Her customers relied too heavily on her, the sales person, to tell them what they needed.  In 2015, Katie left AirWatch/VMWare to begin Bright Solutions, a technology consulting firm exclusively for the senior living industry.

From the start, Katie fell in love with the non-profit senior living world.  The mission-focused, collaborative, compassionate, and talented teams she had the pleasure of working with inspired her, and she knew this is where she wanted to spend all of her time.

“I am incredibly blessed and honored to support senior living providers in identifying the best solutions for them and creating adoption strategies that produce better results for their organizations.  I am thrilled to call so many people in this industry a friend.  I am inspired and delighted to continue the work ahead to enable the mature population to pursue purpose in their life.”

When she’s not having way too much fun working with clients, she enjoys college football, going to the beach with her husband and son, running, and serving as a therapy team with her English Bulldog, in that order.
