Lora Gomboc
Lora Gomboc is the Director of Healthcare Services for Garden Spot Communities located in New Holland, Pennsylvania. She has worked in the field of aging services for over 23 years. She started her career in long-term care as a Certified Nursing Assistant which inspired her to pursue an education in health care administration after high school. She is a licensed Nursing Home Administrator and has worked the last 20 years in the roles of Nursing Home Administrator and Executive Director overseeing operations in skilled nursing, assisted living and independent living. In 2009, Lora was recruited by Garden Spot Village as the Executive Director at Maple Farm where she led the culture change, person-centered care movement. Lora holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Policy Administration and a Minor in Business from the Pennsylvania State University. She completed her graduate studies in health care administration at the Pennsylvania State University to earn a Master’s Degree in Health Administration with a certificate in long-term care. She is a LeadingAge (National) Leadership Fellow. She also serves on the Gerontology Advisory Board for Harrisburg Area Community College (HACC) and teaches Nursing Home Administrator courses for the HACC NHA 120 Hour Program.
